At Elemental Beginnings, I understand that welcoming a new baby is a special moment for the whole family. My Sibling Doula Support package is designed to ensure your older children feel secure, supported, and cared for while you focus on your birth experience.

No-Obligation Phone Call: We start with a casual, no-obligation phone call to discuss your family’s needs, explore how my services can support your older children, and answer any questions you may have. This is a relaxed opportunity for us to get to know each other and ensure we're a good fit. You can book here or access my calendar directly at. the bottom of this page
Initial Consultation:
Getting to Know You Visit: If you decide to move forward, after completing the contract, we'll schedule a “Getting to Know You” visit in your home. This meeting allows me to understand your specific needs, discuss how I can tailor my services, and create a plan that works best for your family. And of course, your children get to meet me and we can start working on having some fun together!
Continuous Support:
Ongoing Communication: Throughout your pregnancy, you'll receive continuous text and email support to address any concerns or questions that arise.
On-Call Care:
Available from 37 Weeks: From 37 weeks, I will be on call, ready to provide support and reassurance for your older children, either at your home or in the hospital (subject to hospital approval).
Birth Day Support:
In-person Care: Enjoy up to 12 hours of dedicated care for your children on the day of your birth. Should you need additional hours, they are available at a discounted overtime rate.
Additional Resources:
Library Access: Utilise my library of birth books for both children and parents. I’ll also provide referrals to other community resources as needed.

Sibling Doula Package Details:
Starting at $650, our package includes:

1-hour “Getting to Know You” visit
Text and email support throughout pregnancy
On-call 24/7 from 37 weeks
Up to 12 hours of care for your children on the big day
Additional hours available on the birth day at a discounted overtime rate of $55 per hour
Access to children’s birth books and birth library
Referrals to other resources and community services as needed
$40 discount on Placenta Encapsulation & Sleep Services

Online Doula Modules Access (including 1 review and edit of your birth plan for Module 4): $30

Having recently moved to Adelaide, we needed care for our elder two children while we went to hospital to have the third baby. As soon as I consulted Kelly on the phone, I knew she was the right person who could arrive at any time of day or night and capably attend to anyone's needs or support their big feelings. My only regret is that I hired Kelly for the kids and not myself! She was an absolute angel in the crossover of her arriving/ my leaving in very active labour. Unlimited On-Call Support: Around-the-clock availability for your older children from 37 weeks, ensuring they feel safe and secure on the big day whether at home or in the hospital
Comforting Presence: I offer a comforting presence, calming words, and reassurance to help your children navigate this significant change with confidence.
Emotional Support: Providing a listening ear and understanding, especially for children who may have questions or concerns about the birth of their new sibling.

Physical Care:

Personalised Attention: Engaging with your children through activities they enjoy, such as games, reading, or crafts, to keep them occupied and happy during the transition.
Routine Maintenance: Assisting with meals, naps, and daily routines to maintain a sense of normalcy and stability for your children.

Age-Appropriate Education:

Birth Education: Tailoring materials and discussions to your child’s age and understanding level. This may include simple explanations about the birth process, what to expect, and how they can be a part of this new chapter.
Newborn Preparation: Introducing your children to basic newborn care concepts in a fun and engaging way, including how to gently interact with the baby, what to expect from a newborn’s needs, and how they can be a helpful big brother or sister.
Books and Resources: Access to a selection of children’s books about birth and new siblings to help your child visualize and understand the changes coming.

Interactive Activities: Organising fun and interactive activities to help your child prepare for the arrival of their new sibling and keep them engaged.
Special Moments: Offering special one-on-one time with each child to maintain their unique bond with you and ensure they feel cherished and important.
