It's Never too Late to Book Your Placenta Encapsulation

I remember getting Kathryn's sms asking if it was too late to book in her encapsulation as she had passed 40 weeks and was still waiting for bubs to arrive. I was on my way to see a postnatal client on the other side of Adelaide, so I gave Kathryn a call to let her know it was fine and that I would email through details later that day.  Much to my suprise I got another sms saying she had gone into labour before I'd even had a chance to get the information sent and that she was heading into hospital.

A sweet baby boy and placenta arrived just 85 minutes later!  How exciting! Baby must have known Mum was waiting to organise one last thing.  I picked up Kathryn's placenta from her doula's house the next day (what a great doula hey) and began the encapsulation process.  When everything was ready, I delivered the capsules and cord keepsake back to Kathryn at home.
