Many people are curious about the process of placenta encapsulation.  I asked my birth photographer to make a slideshow of me encapsulating my own baby's placenta to share with all who are interested in the process.  You may wish to use your discretion when watching it as it does contain full colour pictures of the placenta in all it's wondrous glory.

 This machine makes the process very quick and safe for my clients as I can easily pull the bowl apart to sanitise the surgical grade steel.

This was a family encapsulation so you may see some little fingers in the photos and I'm not always wearing protective equipment in our home.  As such, the procedure is not exactly the same as I use for clients but it does give you a good idea.
