Win a Doula for your Birth

The purpose of World Doula Week (WDW) is to empower doulas all over the world to improve the physiological, social, emotional, and psychological health of women, newborns and families in birth and in the postpartum period. (WDW Website)

And this year, I thought I'd make it a little bit fun to win my doula services at your birth with a virtual scavenger/treasure hunt.  Below is a list of questions that you can answer by searching around my website.  I've made it pretty easy for you.

So what exactly can you win?
Each year during WDW, I offer my services for just $150 to allow those who may not usually be able to afford a doula the opportunity to have my support during your pregnancy, birth and postnatal period.
The winner will receive:

• A 20 minute phone call or Skype chat to introduce ourselves to each other
• 1 prenatal visit in the comfort of their home so we can continue building our professional relationship, I can get to know your wishes and needs for your birth and we can work on building the skills you need for a positive birth
• Continual attendance and personalised support at your labour and birth for up to 12 hours
• 1 postnatal visit to make sure you and baby are off to the best start, debrief your birth if needed and answer any questions you may have or connect you in with other services to support you all.

How To Enter

​Entering requires a little participation from you.  Please read to the bottom of the page (including the terms and conditions before entering)

​Hunt around my website to find the answers to the following 5 questions.  Make a note of all the answers and when you are finished, use my contact form to send them to me along with:

• your name and phone number
• your estimated due date
• your suburb, and
• where you are planning on birthing.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

• Competition begins at 12pm (Adelaide time) on 22.3.2018 and finishes at 5pm on 28.3.2018
• All 2018 due dates are eligible except for those in April, July & December
• Must be birthing in Adelaide metro area
• Valid for new bookings only
• Payment and contract will be due within 3 days of your 20 minute phone call
  
• Elemental Beginnings and the winner reserve the right not to proceed if either of us feels we are not a good fit for each other after the 20 minute phone call
  
• My standard contract applies including the $150 non-refundable retainer if both parties agree to go ahead
• Winner will be chosen by Elemental Beginnings and my decision is final. 
• No correspondence will be entered into
• Extra services are available at normal cost to the winner if you wish to add them on
• By submitting your answers via my contact form, you agree to these terms and conditions
